The win-loss record doesn't reflect it, but the Philadelphia Phillies bring out the best in the Giants.

The teams, who will meet in the National League Championship Series beginning Saturday, split the six games they played against each other this season. But two of the Giants' victories were particularly impressive.

They opened the season series with a 5-1 victory on April 26 at AT&T Park, amassing all of their runs and 10 hits in seven innings off Roy Halladay. Philadelphia's ace entered the game with a 4-0 record and an 0.82 ERA.
