New York City is about to have an amazing spider problem.
The "Spider-Island" story arc kicks off in a prelude issue today in The Amazing Spider-Man issue 666, and not only is it writer Dan Slott's most ambitious and sprawling Spider-tale to date, it also gives Marvel Comics' resident web-slinger an all-new conundrum: how to deal with a whole city full of web-slingers.
"Spider-Island" will run through October in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man— two issues a month — and beginning with No. 667 in two weeks, issues will be available the same day digitally as they are in stores.
