Marvel Comics has teased the return of the Scarlet Spider in its 'Spider Island' event.

A teaser image has been released showing the outfit of late Spider-Man clone Ben Reilly in flames, titled "Scarlet Spider-Island?"

The inclusion of Scarlet Spider creator the Jackal as the chief villain of the storyline, and the appearance of a mysterious figure in a cloning tube in his laboratory, has led to speculation that the star of the infamous 'Clone Saga' may return to life.
