While Mitt Romney continues to attack on Barack Obama's health care legislation, Congressional Budget Office director Doug Elmendorf took the sting out of one of Romney's major talking points — that it is already hurting the U.S. economy.
Romney regularly argues that Affordable Care Act will and already has hurt small businesses. But Elmendorf countered that claim today.
"We don't think that the health care law is having a significant impact on the economy today," Elmendorf told reporters at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast roundtable, as reported by Talking Points Memo.
